Reading a language and understanding it spoken are two very different skills. The podcast trains the second one. In each episode, Maayan has a real conversation in Hebrew at a pace you can follow. Episodes are sorted by level so you can find one that matches yours. Your book membership includes podcast access for your level, or you can get access to the full podcast separately.
