Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 July, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Home for Hebrew ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit our website, subscribe to a plan, or otherwise interact with us. It applies alongside our Terms and Conditions.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly:

  • Name and email address (when you create an account or subscribe)

  • Payment information (processed by our payment provider — see Section 4; we do not store full card numbers ourselves)

  • Messages you send us (for example, support questions or partnership inquiries)

Information collected automatically:

  • Basic technical data such as browser type, device type, and pages visited, typically through standard website analytics or hosting logs

  • Cookies or similar technologies used to keep you logged in and remember your preferences (see Section 6)

We do not knowingly collect more information than we need to provide our plans and support our subscribers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Create and manage your account and subscription

  • Process payments and renewals

  • Provide access to the books, podcast, and other Content included in your plan

  • Set up and manage student licenses that teachers request on behalf of their students

  • Respond to your questions and provide support

  • Send you service-related emails (for example, billing notices or renewal reminders)

  • Improve our website and offerings

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to providing our service without telling you first.

3. Who We Share Information With

We share information only as needed to run our service:

  • Wix Payments — our website is built on Wix, and subscription payments are processed through Wix's built-in payment processor. Wix handles your payment details directly; we don't store your full card information ourselves. Wix's own privacy policy also applies to how it handles your payment data.

  • Patreon — podcast access for our plans is delivered through Patreon. Your use of Patreon is subject to Patreon's own privacy policy.

  • Quizlet — vocabulary sets included in some plans are hosted on Quizlet; accessing them is subject to Quizlet's own terms.

  • Amazon — if you purchase a printed book through Amazon, that purchase and any related personal information is handled entirely by Amazon under its own privacy policy. We don't receive your Amazon order or payment details.

  • Service providers — companies that help us run our website, hosting, or email (for example, a website host or email delivery tool), who are only permitted to use your data to provide that service to us.

  • Legal reasons — if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

We do not share your information with third parties for their own advertising purposes.

5. Cookies

Our website may use cookies or similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your settings, and understand basic usage of the site. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website (for example, which pages are viewed and how people arrive at the site). Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and browsing behavior on our site; this information is processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Data Retention

We keep your personal information for as long as your account or subscription is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to handle billing records, legal obligations, or disputes. If you'd like your information deleted sooner, you can contact us (see Section 10), though we may need to keep certain records (such as payment history) as required by law.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you

  • Correct inaccurate information

  • Request deletion of your information

  • Object to or restrict certain processing

  • Withdraw consent where we rely on it

  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at homeforhebrew@gmail.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable law.

8. Children's Policy

Our plans are intended for purchase by adults — individual learners, teachers, and organizations. Some learners using the curriculum under a teacher's or parent's account may be children; in that case, we rely on the supervising teacher or parent to manage that child's access and to have obtained any necessary parental consent, particularly where required by law. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children without appropriate consent.

9. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or want to exercise your data rights, contact us at homeforhebrew@gmail.com.

10. Accessibility
